Attention: W3Schools Forums members: Last night I successfully uninstalled and reinstalled the Internet Information Services ( IIS ) Manager 10 ( in Microsoft Windows 10 ) web server, following the instructions given at the following Uniform Resource Locator ( URL ) :"https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/friis/2017/01/16/how-to-perform-a-clean-reinstallation-of-iis/ ." Two Paint 3D tempsnip image files are included with this posting ( as attachments, below ) for your consideration. When I launch the reinstalled copy of IIS, I receive the login dialog box ( as indicated in the first image file ). When I enter my "hotmail.com" login credentials, and press the "OK" button, I receive an error message ( as indicated in the second image file ). How do I solve this problem? hello I have some questions about IIS. Is it possible to use IIS for developing html/javascript/css ? I am just totally new to the subject, I'm looking for good tuts about it, and then especially if you know it works like WAMP so being able to control the httpd file and create virtual hosts and makes web pages here. Please help

Has anyone seen an intermittent buttons missing styling on a page before when in the enabled="false" state? I have a page that shows the buttons correctly in ie11 using win8 but on a desktop win7 ie11 does not show the buttons. They appear as text and when the checkbox is clicked triggers an onClick which enables the buttons okay. For some reason they are not styling intermittently. I don't believe its the client side script preventing it from appearing since it doesn't happen all the time and there doesn't seem to be a pattern or I haven't found one yet. Is there a setting in IIS that might be causing the problem? Someone was just working on the servers making adjustments and I received a windows security prompt which I've never seen before, but that's the test server. Live server is okay, but the buttons are a problem. Has anyone experienced this issue?

Hello, I've come across the need to run a background task after a user has submitted a form. Which i am having problems running. the php script calling the backup task does not need to wait for the response from the task. When i run the following command from cmd from within windows it runs fine: "c:program files (x86)phpv5.3php.exe" c:/inetpub/wwwroot/backgroundtask.php > c:/inetpub/wwwroot/backgroundtask.log however when running: exec('"C:Program Files (x86)PHPv5.3php.exe" C:/inetpub/wwwroot/Honours/bgprocess.php > C:/inetpub/wwwroot/Honours/bgprocess.log'); It fails to do anything (At the moment it is just creating and writing data into a text file as a proof of concept) I have also granted cmd.exe access to anyone in case this was an issue. Hi,I used IIS as my web server. I have 5 websites already setup in IIS. Now I add one more website, but when I run the url instead of displaying the forms it display the codes.I have no idea how can I fixed this problem. When I tried to remove all the php codes it display the form.I hope somebody can help me to fixed this error.Thank you. -
