  1. I incorporated the "Dropdown in TopNav" code, but I have a dropdown list that's over 70 items long. How would I incorporated a scrolling function to this menu, or make it possible to view all the entries by scrolling down using the mouse wheel? Thanks!
  2. HI I am trying to have a table with fixed header, and scrollable data cells below. on the right hand side of the table I would like a scroll bar to allow the data cells to scroll vertically. 3. For some reason I cannot determine, there is a scroll bar at the bottom of my page which accesses a blank portion of the viewport on the right. I have a feeling there is something in the stylesheet of the code I am accessing for the slideshow that is responsible, but I don't know how to correct it. I have removed all extraneous code except for the slideshow. Can anybody help? Thank you. <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <link rel="stylesheet" href="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/font-awesome/4.7.0/css/font-awesome.min.css"> <script src="https://use.typekit.net/qkv6kzb.js"></script> <script>try{Typekit.load({ async: true });}catch(e){}</script> <script src="https://use.typekit.net/qkv6kzb.js"></script> <script>try{Typekit.load({ async: true });}catch(e){}</script> <meta charset="UTF-8"> <title>Barton's wall cuts</title> <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1"> <!--[if lt IE 9]> <script src="http://html5shiv.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/html5.js"></script> <![endif]--> <style> * {box-sizing: border-box;} body { width: auto; 5. Hi folks, I really don't know if this is the right section for posting this question, but perhaps some Moderators could move it otherwise? On my website I have a "modal window" which shows a bulleted list of various online stores for digital music. At the moment I have inserted perhaps 100 different stores, and the pop-up box are really long. I need help with creating a fixed size for this window with a scrollbar inside it. CSS part: .text-box-ul li { list-style-type:disc; margin-left:16px; margin-top:5px; } HTML part: <ul class="text-box-ul"><li>Text here</li><li>Text here</li><li>Text here</li><li>Text here</li></ul> The CSS and HTML-parts are located in different folders on the website structure. I would really appreciate all the help I could get! Thanks!
  6. First of all, why isn't there any information about customizing scroll bars using CSS on the w3schools website?? Well anyway, I was trying to figure out how to customize scroll bars and when I Googled it I thought for sure the only way was going to be by using JavaScript, to my pleasant surprise the top of the search was a way using CSS. Although I am aware it is not supported in all browsers. Well, the article I found is from a beloved site: http://css-tricks.com/custom-scrollbars-in-webkit/ and I think one of the states it shows is what I need but I am confused how to use it. What I am trying to do is: I have panels that open and close (using JQuery), these panels are inside a div that is too small for it so I have a scroll bar. When I open the bottom panel, you can't see the panel open because it is hidden by the bottom of the div, you have to then scroll down to view it. I think that using the :decrement state would solve this problem if used correctly but I am confused how it would be used. I've tried Googling further examples but this seems to be a very new unused concept. Could anyone help me solve my problem?
  7. Hi, I've been struggling with this for a while now. http://www.creamedia.fi/horisontal_slider/ Is there any possibility to get scrollbars working inside the content areas? I don't want a scrollbar for the body.Overflow is set to auto and for all the parent elements height: 100%; min-height: 100%; (including html and body). I appreciate all the help, thanks.
