  1. Hi *** MY CONFIGURATION *** PHP 7.2.24 WBCE CMS 1.4.23 TEMPLATE : Acourdesz (horizontal accordion header) The “Acourdesz“ template comes with a horizontal accordion header that panes are opening on following mouse cursor movement detection : left to right and reversely ; up to down and reversely. I think that one may better reply to my question hereafter, knowing the accordion code structure from this demo page : http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/haccordion.htm My wish is to prevent the panes opening when the mouse cursor is moved from up to down and reversely, so that panes only opens when mouse cursor is moved from left to right (and inversely). To achieve this, I may use one of my CMS add-on module that allows to include PHP, JS, or HTML code to a template or page (screenshot) : https://addons.wbce.org/pages/addons.php?do=item&item=37 Can someone help me to know what coding string to include using this module, so that it constrains the accordion to behave as I wish it to ? Regards
  2. I have no idea where to put this topic so if it's in the wrong place, please forgive me. We have committees/teams in our organization (membership login on website) who should be able to create and edit certain pages of our website online. These are really novice users so basically all they'll be adding is text and pictures but they'll want to make it "pretty". I'm currently using WYSIWYG 14 and CoffeeCup editor to build the website. WYSIWYG has a CMS function in it but I can't get the editors to work properly once I publish it. WYSIWYG doesn't officially support them so I can't really get an answer on what I'm doing wrong. The pages these people would be editing have a boiler plate frame so they're only editing one 'block' of the page. My question is, what is the easiest way to manage this? Or can you point me to online resources that will help me decide which direction to go? I tried searching and all I get is either CMS stand alone options (I cannot add programs to my computer) or 'how to build a membership website'. Considerations: Persons editing will change 1 or 2 times per year, very limited number of editors (5 or 6 tops) and limited number of pages (4 at this time and I don't see that changing much), ease of use for editors, archiving possibilities.
  3. I'm trying to learn PHP and CMS. But do not know how to learn. I need guidelines. If someone tells me how I can do, then I will be benefited. What will learn step by step?
  4. Can someone explain which CMS is best for E-commerce (For SEO based)
  5. I just know about CSS.... A content management system(CMS) is a PC application that permits distributed, altering, changing, sorting out, erasing, and keeping up substance from a focal interface. Such frameworks of substance administration give methodology to oversee work process in a cooperative domain. Please give some deep detail ...why use it and what benefits get from CMS to be used...

  7. I didn't know where to add my new topic, but because my problem involves coding in HTML. I thought this might be the right place. So.. I'm new to web design/coding and i'm coming to you guys for help because the company i work for has now got a new website which uses Umbraco CMS to add and edit content. What they neglected to tell us was that we'd need to know HTML to edit certain data. I have added the HTML coding below for the Table of specs for one of the products we sell at my work, but my problem is getting the color_boxes to align centrally with all the rest of the data. (see image attached of 'The Table as viewed on the webpage'). HTML: <table border="0" class="comm_table" align="center"><tbody><tr><th colspan="2" width="129">Size/ref/code</th><th class="table_th1" style="text-align: center;">W½</th><th class="table_th1" style="text-align: center;">W1</th><th class="table_th1" style="text-align: center;">W2</th><th class="table_th1" style="text-align: center;">W3</th></tr><tr><th colspan="2" width="129">Colour</th><th><div class="color_box"><span class="color" style="background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% #ffffff;">color</span></div></th><th><div class="color_box" style="text-align: center;"><span class="color" style="background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% #99CC00;">color</span></div></th><th><div class="color_box"><span class="color" style="background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% #D00000; align: center;"> color</span></div></th><th><div class="color_box"><span class="color" align="center" style="background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% #333399;">color</span></div></th></tr><tr><th class="table_th1" rowspan="2" style="text-align: center;">Height of Walker (cm)</th><th class="table_th1" style="text-align: center;">STD Wheels</th><td>37-46</td><td>41-55</td><td>48-64</td><td>59-78</td></tr><tr><th class="table_th1" style="text-align: center;">Activity Wheels</th><td>41.50</td><td>45-60</td><td>52-68</td><td>63-82</td></tr><tr><th class="table_th1" colspan="2" style="text-align: center;">Hand-grip width (cm) </th><td>34</td><td>34</td><td>34</td><td>38</td></tr><tr><th class="table_th1" colspan="2" style="text-align: center;">Frame width (cm) </th><td>58-60</td><td>58-60</td><td>60-62</td><td>62-64</td></tr><tr><th class="table_th1" colspan="2" style="text-align: center;">Frame Length (cm) </th><td>52-59</td><td>56-62</td><td>69-83</td><td>77-89</td></tr><tr><th class="table_th1" colspan="2" style="text-align: center;">User Height (cm) </th><td>up to 95</td><td>91-122</td><td>107-137</td><td>129-152</td></tr><tr><th class="table_th1" colspan="2" style="text-align: center;">Max User Weight (kg </th><td>27</td><td>27</td><td>39</td><td>60</td></tr><tr><th class="table_th1" colspan="2" style="text-align: center;">Frame Weight (kg) </th><td>3</td><td>3.3</td><td>3.85</td><td>4.85</td></tr></tbody></table><p> </p><p style="text-align: left;">*All dimensions are based on four wheeled walkers. This will need tidying up a lot, after i have tried so many times to edit the coding to do what i want it to. But i had no success.. I have also attached a screen grab of the HTML coding we are looking at (as edited in Umbraco CMS): I have also included two more screen grabs of the Table as viewed in Umbraco CMS & the Table as viewed on the webpage if this is of any help. The Table as viewed in Umbraco CMS: The Table as viewed on the webpage: As you can see above the colour boxes are not aligned central to the rest of the data input in the table. i would appreciate someone to help me understand the correct way of coding. As i am an ultra newbie and have taken it upon myself to learn HTML, anyone who might offer any course in HTML coding, please get in touch via PM. Thanks, Reb
  8. I have started over on designing my website's blog.beta.cleantelligent.com/blogI am trying to use a custom template (t-blog.php) to design the page. It will also need a custom sidebar in order to list archives, etc. This is different from my main website.I can't seem to get the blog template, or the blog sidebar to work. Nor is it displaying my posts. I have changed the settings in Reading so that "Blog" is my posts page.Any idea why it's not working at all? (The title of the page seems to be calling my most recent posts title, but the blog post itself is not there.)
  9. Hey guys I'm pretty new to all of this. I just signed up for a web hosting service and I've been trying to familiarize myself with cPanel. I'm trying to create a Wordpress site to keep track of what I'm learning while studying coding. I'm just unclear about a few things. 1. From what I can tell when you're using a cms such as wordpress, there are a lot of built in features. You can upload and download files directly to and from your wordpress site. If I decide to just use wordpress sites, how important would using ftp be in cPanel? Would I have to sign up with some sort of Filezilla? Basically, should I learn ftp? 2. Again with cPanel, there's an SEO marketing area. If I change any of the settings and configure seo there through cPanel, would it effect the seo of my wordpress site? Basically, can everything be handled through the cms that can be handled in cPanel? In what situations would one use a lot of the cPanel features in?
