Joomla isn't web developing software, it's a content managing system.I write all my pages in Notepad++ (just notepad by with syntax highlighting).I don't recommend using graphical editors. There are many good editors out there.Dreamweaver also highlights syntax, but I don't recommend it for two reasons: It takes a lot of memory and you might end up using the graphical editor which is a bad idea for web developers.
