Guest sobo679 Posted October 24, 2005 Share Posted October 24, 2005 i am wondering if anyone can describe in plain english when it would be advantageous to use heredoc syntax; as i understand it looks as if it is the php method of grouping a large block of text. very strange though please if anyone could make clear, greatly appreciated. heredoc is something like this i beleive : $str_test <<< TSTthis document doesn't usequotes but yet the T, S, and T all together act as quotes? lol at using language behind the parsers back guys...TST Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
