Tutor needed for hiding or removing via css

Hi Can someone point me in the direction of a tutor so I can learn how to remove or hide things using css. I'm running a wordpress woocommerce store and need to add css in a plug-in box that will remove or hide items. If I have to I can find the css sheet for the plug-in and work from there. I know how to build a basic css sheet to make my own pages but never tried to remove anything using css.

 

Any help of where I can find a good tutor would be much appreciated.Kimberly

As niche has pointed out, there is a CSS property called display that allows you to hide the element and you'll need to use JavaScript to trigger the property value to change.
