christina_g
Hello everybody, I would like to add a simple form to a webpage that will allow internet users to suscribe to a newsletter by indicating their email address.I do have the HTML code for the form and it works out fine, but I do not know how to style the form with CSS (font, font size, text align, etc.).Currently, adding the HTML form code to the page overrides nearly all CSS styling defined for the section of the page concerned :-( Thank you very much in advance for your help ! davej
Currently, adding the HTML form code to the page overrides nearly all CSS styling defined for the section of the page concerned :-( Well, you're doing something strange then. Take a look at the tutorial as Niche suggests. http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp
christina_g
Thank you for your advice. I've solved the issue by assigning a class to the form paragraph.
dsonesuk
Instead given the paragraph a maybe unnecessary class, you could just target it using form p {} it will adopt the default styling you have set, but you can change specific styling to your needs. eurohttp
Can you be more specific? Is this a global question about forms or? You can always add into CSS tags like input.class_name{color:#FFFFFF; etc.} Does this solves the problem?
