flexmall
Goodday, forum members.I have a minor issue which i believe someone can solve.I recently installed XAMPP server on my pc, but when i try to access http://localhost/ it keeps on bringing on IIS 8 web server. initially i had activated IIS 8 on my PC. i have tried deactivating the IIS 8 from my PC via turning windows features on or off so that XAMPP SERVER COULD RUN but yet i am not able to get a favourable response. please could you help me out with a better solution. justsomeguy
You can start and stop the web server in the IIS control panel. I believe you can find that if you open the start menu and search for Internet Information Services.
Jonathanks
I had same problem with WAMP. Stopping the web server in the IIS control panel, as Justsomeguy suggested, can resolve it. You can also make one of the servers to listen on a different port.
