justsomeguy
If you need help with geolocation, Google has a geolocation API where you can send an address and it will return the coordinates. If you look at any example of placing a marker on a Google map then you should see the geolocation API being used to get the coordinates for the marker. stormsearchers
would it be possible for me to create Cyclones Alerts, Flood Alerts, Server Strorm Alerts, Winter Alerts from the geolocation if so how can I do this mike
justsomeguy
I guess the question is how you get access to that data. If you have access to all of those data points, along with coordinate or some other kind of geographical information, then I'm sure that you can plot that on a map. stormsearchers
var x = document.getElementById("demo"); with the getElementby ID(demo) what do I put in there for Australia cause it dose not want work on my site http://stormsearchers.site88.net Edited February 24, 2016 by stormsearchers
justsomeguy
I'm not sure what you're asking. You use document.getElementById to get a reference to an HTML element on the page. I don't know what you mean by putting it in there for Australia. Australia is a continent and country, not an HTML element. Your site doesn't have an element with the ID "demo" on it, so that line isn't going to find anything. You also have 3 functions on your page, but you don't execute any of the functions. It sounds like you pasted some code in but left out a couple steps. One of the functions tries to get an element with the ID "mapholder" but you don't have an element with that ID on your page either.
