Posting to Facebook Page Remotely

Hi there,

 

I was trying to research on Google, but without the correct terminology I wasn't winning, so perhaps you guys can help point me in the right direction:

 

I am hoping to set up a button that my users can click when they've added a new post to my site that would post a link on the websites Facebook page.

 

Pointers would be greatly appreciated!

I would look for a Facebook API.

 

But I cannot tell if Facebook allows you to write posts using an API.
