How to apply padding around google map

5 posts in this topic

Hello,

I have two fields as below.

<div class="field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden">.........</div>

<div class="field field-name-field-map field-type-text field-label-above"> google map goes here</div>
CSS for map class.
.field.field-name-field-map.field-type-text.field-label-above {
    width: 50%;    float: left;    margin-top: -190px;
}
Now, page looks like this: How it is looking now. How can I apply padding around the map? So, it does not overlap?

The overlap is caused by the negative margin.

Well I need the negative margin to put it in that place. If I dont have the negative margin, it goes below on a separate row. I do not want that. I like to keep it where it is. I simply would need your help to force padding around the map.

You should figure out why? It goes on to a separate row and fix that
