donal.buckley
Hi All, This may be a question asked before, but. The W3schools, free coming soon templates, specifically this one. https://www.w3schools.com/w3css/tryw3css_templates_coming_soon.htm Won't display from netbeans in any browser, and also is not displaying on my hosting site. What am I missing here ? Is there a style sheet I need on a css file even though it has a direct link on the index page ? Still learning so be kind Edited July 3, 2017 by donal.buckley
justsomeguy
Open your browser's developer tools and go to the Network tab, refresh the page and look for any failed requests to see what's missing.
donal.buckley
Thanks for the reply ! Ran on firefox: Index loaded W3.css shows up as orange (304 not modified) Google fonts loaded Image not loading. Created a folder for image called w3images. Used "background-image: url('../w3images/image.jpg'); Am I on the right track ?
justsomeguy
It sounds like it, that network tab will show you if there are any problems loading anything. A 304 just means the browser is using the cached version it already downloaded, the server is telling the browser that the file hasn't changed.
