Editing footer/menu items for all pages at once

Hi,

I 'built' a website a while ago . I 'built' it using a template. It is only 5 pages so every time I needed to edit something in the footer I would just go through each page and edit it.

I am going to be building a slightly larger website soon (20 pages). What is the best way to set it up so I can easily edit the menu items or the footer on every page in one go?

As far as I can tell the templates on w3layouts don't have anything built in to their templates to do this? Is the best way to just use wordpress or something instead? Is there a way to do it with html/css?

Also, i would appreciate feedback on the website above.

Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. Is PHP templating a complicated thing to set up?

Would it be common for a site of around 20 pages to not something in place to do templating, and to just edit each page individually?

With only 20 pages you could use server-side language to include the pages that just have the html code for menu and footer into the other pages, so editing the single menu or footer html would instantly show on the page these were included in.
