Formula behind a form?

Hello,

 

I'm quite new with webdesign and I can't figure something out. I'm trying to make something like this:

It's a form with some data behind it, when you change an option, the price and weight etc. will change as well. The form is no problem but how do I get the data in it and what kind of script do I need to let it calculate the price and weight?

 

Is this doable or do I need to contact a professional webdesigner for this?

That form uses ajax requests to get information out of a database on the server. If you're just starting with web development it would probably take you a couple months of study to be able to understand everything to build that yourself.
