I'm graduating from my college and recently I've been working on a project about multimedia synchronization. To be exact, it is about the analysis on MS Office PowerPoint multimedia synchronization. I'll give more explanations below. We know that with pure HTML it is not possible to implement multimedia synchronization in a web page. But if we transfer a PPT document into a web page using "Save as web page..." in the File menu, the elements in this newly created PPT web page are able to act synchronously, and they can respond an event from the user, such as a mouse click. After reading some articles in MSDN I gotta know it is with the help of TIME 2.0. Now my question is: does the synchronization implementation in MS Office PowerPoint web page have something with XML? If does, what kind of role does XML play in it? What is the relationship between TIME and XML?(Thank you for being patient and reading so much!)PS: I understand SMIL is a possible method of multimedia synchronization, but it seems no SMIL-related thing is used in PPT web page.
