To read dir file names and date

Hi at all,

to read files names into a folder I tryed to use scandir()

but it return nothing.

My problem is that making a mysql backup immediately after I want to display filename of mysql backup files that are stored into the folder named backups to look backup result.

but array is empty.
Ido not understand why

scandir returns false if there was an error, are you sure you have all error messages enabled? It might be writing error messages to a log file.
