My cPanel is being screeneed out by a securelogin content censor

Hello, I am having a problem which is new to me.

I am stuck for what will be a long stay at the Kansas City VA Hospital.

They have their own website which has to be logged into to gain internet access and also it is censored by a very strict content censoring.

I can't access my cPanel because it is getting blocked. People say that it's not surprising, since some public government sites also get blocked.

My web hosting provider "guru guy" says that it sounds like the 2083 port is getting snagged and blocked.

I can't work on my sites, but I can view them ok http://jdsplace.us

 

 

Someone told me that I could write my code and then view the page with Notepad++

I installed that, but it doesn't seem to launch my page in a browser, maybe just for true programming?

 

What I am wondering is, is there something that will let me view the page, which I write, in a browser without putting it online? ,just to view it on my computer to see how it looks? I can copy my code or upload it when I can access my control panel again.

 

Just hoping someone knows a way.

What you do in Notepad++ is write an HTML file. Save the file somewhere, then double-click on that file to see it in the browser.

 

If you're programming in PHP you can install a server package called XAMPP on your computer to test it.
