    Small Asp Error

    For this job I have changed roles...In this case i have been asked to find a suitable hosting provider and upload it for them. Im using 1 and 1 hosting they seem ok...For some reason im getting this error message when i try to access the database. Im unsure as to why im getting it simply because the database is not read only. I'd be great full if someone could shed some light on this situation. Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e09'Cannot update. Database or object is read-only./admin/sessions_inc.asp, line 49
  5. I can see your point actually thanks.
  6. This is kind of in rely to the following thread http://w3schools.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=11255I am guessing I kind of got ripped off for the sites I did then...This was my first site I did for "work experience" but it was for quite an important person. It was for a University Lecturer at Kings College, London, UK. All content was provided.http://www.aquatic-management.org/Paid: £50 + Expenses £20 = £70 ($138.80)This next site is for an established CCTV business. The sites on a temporary URL hence the add I have to put at the bottom of the page.http://www.dview.co.nr/Paid: £250 ($495.70)I suppose if you look at it as a learning curve then i cant really charge for that, however im sure other companies would have paid more....What you think?
  7. @justsomeguy: you talking about KB905474? for some reason that update stopped half way through and crashed my pc. My XP is legit lol i have the docs to prove it...The only reason why i can see i have encountered this problem is becuase i recently upgraded my aol to the latest AOL 9.0 VR (Vista Ready)would this have anything to do with it?however when i look at this http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost....62&SiteID=1 i can see people are having the same problem with no way to fix it
  8. Here is a list of my last updatesHere is a list of my high priority updatesHere is a list of my software updatesHere is a list of my hardware updates
  9. thanks boen that codec thingy makes it work fine.
  10. What the problem is here is that every dvd i try to play on my pc, i recieve the following message.No matter if its a dvd from the shops or one i have burnt my self i keep recieving the error. I know alot of people who are having this problem so i know its nothing to do with my hardware.I have tried to reinstall previous versions of windows media player but it has proved to be unsuccessful. I have tried there help topics and doing upgrades they suggest but still no luck. Even changed my resolution settings but im sure you can guess the outcome.Any ideas?
  11. thanks for your help guy, its cleared things up but still it does the same thing. Looks like i have to wait for the fix.cheers again!
  12. Hello team,Couldn't see a place to put this so forgive me if its in the wrong place.It all started when i went to do a small calculation. By click the calculator programme icon, i encountered the following error message.Now im not too good with this technical side but im sure its something to do with the registry and if i mess it i up i could be ... for life. So is there anyway i can sort this problem?Many thanksB
  13. i prefer the white...also on firefox i get this piece of lovely code 0&&parent.frames.length) { d=parent.frames[n.substring(p+1)].document; n=n.substring(0,p);} if(!(x=d[n])&&d.all) x=d.all[n]; for (i=0;!x&&i
