Samuel Oliveira
Hello When i press f12 there is all the website code on display. Is there a way to protect a website code in html, css and javascript from being copied? Waiting for your help.
dsonesuk
No! Its all text based, notice how you can write all html, js, css simply in text editor such as notepad.
James_Purcell
Why even bother, html is pritty much open source anyway and the chance that you will have created something new in code is almost 0% The design on the otherhand (graphics wise) can be protected via copyright but then that is expensive. Ingolme
Copyright is free and is automatically granted upon completion of a published work. Fighting for your copyright in court is a bit more complicated of a procedure.
stockmoto
I do not know if there is a kind of "Copyscape" for design and code ?
johnniewalk
No it is not possible because spammers will always copied for the content not the code, so even though your code is visible no need to worry about this you should worry about the content..
