Maybe they should. There's an email contact on the w3schools site if you want to ask them about it. Until then, Flash is the best source of references and tutorials for all versions of Actionscript.
What's actionscript?
A scripting language similar to Javascript that is used in Flash movies.
For future reference, instead of posting a "what is..." question on a forum and waiting for someone to reply to it, you can search for it yourself and find the answer immediately.

Yes, and the flash forum is dead cuz there's no tutorial for actionscript/flash.
BTW,+1 for a AS 2 & 3 tutorial
