These sites all have some connection/affiliation with M$-centric stuff so it is safe to assume they are conservative numbers, that is, the truth would be a bit lower number. This is not to criticize this site at all but .net and such are likely to get more hits from that OS.
I think it is the trend that is important. This is just a milestone.
