I've been playing D&D for about 12 years. I want to learn to write XSL-FO style sheets for Dungeons and Dragons software such as E-Tools. Although E-Tools can no longer be purchased, many people still use it to manage their character sheet. From this "fun" project will hopefully come knowledge that can be applied to something more practical.
  1. I'm just wondering where is the right place to get help with page breaks not working in an xsl stylesheet? <br style="page-break-after: always"/> Doesn't seem to work.
  2. Hello, I use the page break in my .xls file: <br style="page-break-after: always"/> But it seems to have stopped working when I print. My .xls file reads data from a .xml file and a script creates a HTML file.
  3. Interesting. Search seems to be working on the other IPB boards I use, such as jnsforum.com. I'd put a rocket up their support staff, if I were you. In the meantime, since you're a Mod and spend a lot more time here than me, perhaps you might know if there are any threads on the D&D software called eTools and writing XSLT templates for it? Cheers Nige'
  4. Hi, I'm new here. I cannot search the forums. For example, consider this topic in the General section: http://w3schools.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=47221 It contains "Nigerians" in the title and "Nigeria" in the body. Yet, when I search those terms I get the message "No results found for 'nigerians'" .... note, even when I capitalise the word in my search the result is displayed in lower case. I'd like to search for things I'm interested in before starting new topics that might cover old ground. What do I need to do to fix this? Cheers Nige'
  5. Wow ... I didn't expect it to take 4 days to join, but my application has finally been accepted. I'm a middle aged nerd, married, first kid on the way. My hobby is D&D. I've joined this forum because I'll be needing some support with XSLT and FO as I write my own custom style sheet for the eTools software that I use to manage my D&D characters.
