    Menu Help

Thanks for that, dsonesuk. Having looked at the code, I find it a bit daunting because I don’t know what I’m to edit to make it work with the site’s menu. I’m going to disappear for a while so I can tackle it but will check back here for responses a little later.

    Menu Help

Extra question: The owner of the website wanted buttons as his menu for the site, with what I'm trying to do can that be applied to button style menu or does it only work with the top/side navigation menus? Link to the test pages is in my first post. I'm kind of getting lost with this.

    Menu Help

I do have @media queries for the site to adjust according to screen size but it doesn't change the menu to that 3 horizontal line icon.

    Menu Help

Hi, I'm working on a new website and I need help in turning the menu into that mobile device '3 bar' icon that turns into a drop-down menu. The current menu is situated on the left-hand side under the header. When viewing the site via mobile device, I need the menu to appear in the top left corner over the top of the header. How can I do this? My coding knowledge is limited to html and css. Anything else beyond that and my brain goes to mush. This is why I don't create websites as a job lol. Here is the link to the test site. Any help is greatly appreciated.
  6. Hi all, I was asked to QC a website for a friend to suggest improvements. As a learning the new CSS exercise for myself, I decided to rebuild her site from scratch. Turns out she likes it and I'll soon be uploading it to her site. Anyway, here is the test version of it http://www.kcrileygyer.com/test2/. If you notice, the main content area has big blank space. Until you get to the Prices & Deliveries page. With using iframes, I had to make it that big so the background container would encompass the content in the iframe. Is there coding that should be used to make all containers adjust according to the amount of information the iframe receives? At this point in time, I have the div containing the iframe set to 2000px and the main (background container) div follows that. I hope that makes sense but feel free to look at the source coding on the index page and in the css file.
  7. Well, while I don't have the side nav like I wanted and the info boxes below the header aren't laid out to my liking, my site is now mobile device friendly. Still have so much to learn, though, and headache inducing at that lol.
  8. Hi, while I'm new here, I've been using W3S codes for over a decade. Anyway, I was recently told that my website is not mobile device friendly so that's what I've been learning to do while trying to keep the look I want. Here is my website that isn't mobile device friendly: http://www.kcrileygyer.com And, here is my test site with what little I've been able to do so far: http://www.kcrileygyer.com/test/ It looks good on the mobile phone, not so good on a tablet and I'm not liking the layout on the desktop and don't know how to fix it so it looks better. Also, I want to look at adding a W3.CSS sidenav that shifts the Content to the Right but I want it to have icons with text labels beside each icon. When I used the Tryit Editor, the icons didn't show. I want to use the Font Awesome icons. Does this type of menu work on mobile devices? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, HTML and CSS are not my strong points despite my willingness to learn, so please be patient with me lol.
