Make sure the file is saved as a .php file and not a .html by accident. Also what editor are you using? it's hard to troubleshoot without knowing what program.

Thank you! I'll look into some updates.Now that you point it out it's easy to see the contrast issues do need some work. The extra fields on the register page were meant mostly to fill empty space. But it does look cleaner without it, so for sure going to remove that. Thanks for the great advice, It's good to have someone who doesn't hold back.
