The "Font Awesome Introduction" article has a general CDN link intended to be used for a free account. However, it is has changed and you now must first set up an account to use the free tier. You do this by clicking "Start" in the top menu of the the Font Awesome homepage, entering your email, and clicking the "Create & Use This Kit" button. Once you have confirmed your account, they will give you a CDN.

I noticed that the "Font Awesome Introduction" article provides a general CDN for using a free tier of Font Awesome.
