  1. Thank you. I appreciate that. Maybe you can tell me where I should put it if I actually want to get help.
  2. Okay so I've been customizing my blog the past week or so and I noticed that the layout page in blogger now doesn't work. Normally, this page would display all the widgets in the sidebar and whatever so you can edit them easily. I guess I must've done something that screwed this up…. Can anyone take a look if they know anything about blogger and how it populates this layout page? I would really appreciate it. The blog url is http://words-ina-jar.blogspot.com Thanks!~Jess
  3. That worked, thank you so much!
  4. Hi, I'm trying to right align a menu…in other words, I want the menu items to do exactly what they are doing now, but facing the other way. I want the black block to flow from a line in the center column towards the left of the screen, with the text following. Here is the site: http://www.words-ina-jar.blogspot.com This is what I have for menu code: /* Menu -------------------------------*/#PageList1 h2 {display: none;}#menu-wrapper { float: left; width: 300px; margin: 0 0 400px -320px; padding: 0; }#menu { position: relative; float: right; margin:0; padding: 20px 0 0; }#menu ul { margin: 0; padding: 0; }#menu ul li { list-style: none; margin: 0 0 5px; }#menu li a { text-align: right; padding: 2px; font-size: 20px; color: $bodycolor; background: #000000; }#menu li.selected a { color: #fff; } I would really appreciate any help. Thanks,~Jess
  5. I am trying to fix a gap at the top of my Blogger page...I have tried setting all the margins and padding to 0, as well as several other things that didn't work. It's driving my crazy, anyone have any ideas? Thank you so much. http://www.words-ina-jar.blogspot.com
  6. Okay. Thank you for your help, I appreciate it.
  7. When I look at them both instances of the footer are outside the content wrapper. I am definitely aware that I need to validate my pages…my code needs a lot of cleaning up for sure. Thanks
  8. Would putting <link> tags where they don't belong cause the problem I'm having? I still don't understand why it would happen on some pages and not others...
  9. Hey Everyone, I'm having an issue on one of my sites where the footer background is not showing up on certain pages: http://www.jerseycookiegirl.com/summer.shtml and http://www.jerseycookiegirl.com/order_form.shtml The background is supposed to be white, like on the other pages, but I don't understand why it's not working on only certain pages... Any help would be greatly appreciated!! ~Jess style.css

    Slideshow Issues...

Nevermind! I found it!! .slides_container a{width:980px;height:300px;display:block;} The height was set to 270px, so it was cutting off the bottom of the 300px image. Thanks so much though, I appreciate it!! ~Jess

    Slideshow Issues...

Thank you guys... I looked at the examples. I think the problem is I'm using an image w/o text. Which means I don't have any text to use for the link, so I want to use the image instead. This is different from the example. Here's a test page: http://www.disneymad...com/tester.html I really appreciate it!!

    Slideshow Issues...

The snippet of html is the code that makes the slides look weird. I didn't want to upload it live, because I didn't want people to see it messed up.

    Slideshow Issues...

Hi Everyone, I'm trying to turn my slideshow into an extra source of navigation. It appears that it was built into the css to add a link to the slides in the slideshow, but when I add the link, it cuts off the bottom of the slide. Any ideas? Here's the working code: http://www.disneymadesimple.com And the code with the link is below. <section id="intro"> <div id="slides"> <div class="slides_container"> <a href="http://www.facebook.com"><img src="image-files/banner1.jpg" width="960" height="300" alt="baner"></a> <img src="image-files/banner2.jpg" width="960" height="300" alt="baner"> <img src="image-files/banner3.jpg" width="960" height="300" alt="baner"> </div> </div> </section> Thanks in advance! styles.css
  14. It's not my browser settings, I did check. If I use the Javascript solution (please pardon me, I'm not a Java expert) do I leave my <quotesection> tags in the html as well? Or do I replace them with the Javascript…will this give me issues in other browsers?
