  1. Hi ThereAny chance maybe having a Topic for Jobs? Eg.Freelancers could post there skills.Employers can post wanted ads...etc. Or do you already do this on a ad-hoc basis? Thanks
  2. Having seen a few post asking people to comment. I would advise just look at what's already on the web and compare it.Being very honest the design is very poor. Also inline styles are normally used only for HTML emails - you should compose all CSS on a separate style sheet - as in the long run it will be easier to make changes to the complete site.
  3. Impressed - considering you have just started HTML. Keep on going and your be pro standard.JS or PHP - depends what you want to do. both are handy.Would like to see your designs too. Maybe show how you can extend the template?Do you design too? or do you prefer to code from a designer?
  4. Wow - a lot of comments here.Just adding a note about target market and your competition. I can see you are selling Web Design services - so maybe first of all look at other sites which sell the same service. Your website is your shop window! Would you buy from their site on face value or would you buy from yours. It's a nice easy test! The aim of course is to attract them to yours.
  5. Maybe think about flexibility of the main content area if you have long copy. Eg. you have designed the main area as a fixed space - you will be always limited to a certain word count. I can see you use iframe on another page - technically iframes are sometimes not liked by by assessibility gurus as they stop book marking and produce horrid scroll bars.
  6. First of all don't build a site unless you have the design first.Design will include Site map Content images or copyThe user interface (UI)The over all design Professional designers use photoshop (plenty of free options too). It's a lot easier to make changes during the concept stage.I can see you site is now built, but you should consider the Design stage before Build stage. Hope that helps

    z-index

Hope that helps, but maybe for future proofing. Quick way is to start your lowest layer say 10. Then increment z-index 10 units at a time. 10,20,30.... I also means you have flex to amend - say between 15 to slot between 10&20.
