  2. Hello There. I'am Making What It Seems Like A Function To Animate The Background Color Of An Element,But I Have A Problem. This Is The Code: <script> function color(id,duration,r_start,g_start,b_start,r_end,g_end,b_end) { var element=document.getElementById(id); var parameter=setInterval(colorGradually,50*duration); function colorGradually() { if (r_start==r_end && g_start==g_end && b_start==b_end) { clearInterval(parameter); } else { for (var i=r_start,var j=g_start,var k=b_start; i<r_end && j<g_end && k<b_end;i++,j++,k++) { element.style.backgroundColor="rgb("+i+","+j+","+k+")"; } } } } </script> <div id="test" style="width:100%;height:200px;background-color:rgb(128,128,128)"></div> <input type="button" onclick="color('test',1,128,128,128,255,255,255)" value="Change"> The Script Isn't Working At All. 3. I was wondering if anyone was familiar with and could help me with my coding? I'm fairly new to coding layouts and would like a few tips. I understand it would be easier to not use tables, but this is what I find easier to work with as I'm comfortable with the coding as it is. My issue is trying to change the color/width on scrollboxes. I tried using a certain coding, but it did not work at all and simple left my scrollbox the same; white and gray. I saw someone else who also uses tables and this type of coding make their scrolboxes different using similar coding but I still can't figure out why it wasn't working with mine. My layout: My coding: http://pastebin.com/tH8dve2G Layout with similar coding: http://i47.tinypic.com/30mx0xy.jpg If anyone is familiar with this type of coding and could help/tell me what I need to change or how I can get the scrolboxes to match my layout like the one I found, I would greatly appreciate it. Any tips would be great. Please don't tell me to switch to coding without the tables, that isn't very helpful. Thanks.
  4. Hey everyone, I'm fairly new to the whole web design business and I have a simple question. I've made a site, just for practice, and I'm not happy with the colors. Instead of every time scrolling trough my css file, I want to have quick acces to a few color codes at the top of the file. In this way I can change the colors way quicker and more easily. Stig

    Colors get changed

I am modifying a client's site at present. A modification to the current banner image (a logo) is needed. Hence I asked him to send me the new image, done on the present image. (Hence no pixel change, just the colors). When I inserted the new image, I can see the colors have changed, giving a more glowing look. I cannot figure our how and why. Anyone has an idea? Following is the CSS code that inserts the image. #header{ height: 200px; /*Height of top section*/ background-image:url(images/header_new2.jpg); background-repeat:no-repeat; position:relative; } Thanks, Anton
  6. HiI'm kinda new to XML and coding so I dont know if this is possible...I have this XML made with Processing what it does is: It takes the feed from the webcam and when I press Space it samples color from 2 pixels in different possitions. It writes the XML like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?><COLORS><SHIRT>#959789</SHIRT><PANTS>#19100F</PANTS><SHIRT>#999486</SHIRT><PANTS>#19110D</PANTS><SHIRT>#939791</SHIRT><PANTS>#1D120F</PANTS></COLORS> So everytime I press Space it adds the Tags <SHIRT> and <PANTS>, this means that the XML is always updating What i need now is a HTML that reads the XML and puts colors in cells of a table and everytime there is a new color, it adds it to the table... Is there a way to do that? Please I've been trying this for the last 3 days with no success... Thank you
