justsomeguy
It's probably a network issue, like a firewall blocking your request.

justsomeguy
That's good, but are you trying to connect to the Gmail servers using FTP?
razstec
sorry i mean 25 and other 2 ports for email that i cant remember now
justsomeguy
I can't tell what the problem is from here. All I can say is that if you're trying to connect to a public server and you can't then something on your server or your network is blocking access. justsomeguy
i made de configuration of my server, do you think i skip something?I don't know, I didn't watch you configure it. You should be able to test the connection, you don't need ASP to do that. Use a telnet client to connect to the server on various ports and see what happens. Use a traceroute tool to see how far it gets.

justsomeguy
If you can use putty on your server to connect to the gmail server then I don't know why ASP can't do it.
