Ughur
Can i get system informations (RAM, Disk capacity, OS name, OS version etc. ) with JQuery or Javascript?!
jeffman
You can get this information. It's as much information as an ethical developer should ever want. Since jQuery uses JavaScript, it has the same access to information and no more. The only time I ever see a real purpose for some of this information is when a vendor wants to speed up the process of selecting which version of a software product matches a user's system. justsomeguy
That is a hypertext application, or .hta file. While it runs in a browser, it's fair to say that the code has a different set of permissions and options than a normal internet web page.
