opajaap
The documentation states that the default for the css property display is inline. When i remove 'p {display:inline}' in the tryit editor here: http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/tryit.asp?filename=trycss_display_inline the display changes. So, inline is not the default value for display. Edited June 22, 2014 by opajaap
dsonesuk
How i would read it is that css display: default value is inline, while html elements default value depends on element type div, p are block, and span, strong are inline by default.
