I'm (very) far from an expert, but from what I read on Wikipedia, it sounds like it's more trouble than it's worth. (read the criticisms section.)

 

You are probably better off learning MySQL or MSSQL (if you like Microsoft that is).

Mongodb is good for storing documents in the form of JSON data, but a typical website needs to do other things.

MONGO! I want mongo.... Mongodb is a noSQL. I think it'll be nice to have a tutorial of it.

No~! I want to learn it here, or at least get my feet wet.

don't know what to tell you then. If you're not willing to look to more than one place for information, you're not going to get very far as a developer.

After watching that video Mongodb plus the nodejs one, we should totally have them as a w3s tutorial!
