How to create colored background in the header section?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I am trying to customize my website theme (wordpress)

in the header section was an image by default, I deleted the image so the header section became empty blank,

I would like to fill in this blank section by a color using css code,

kindly help how to do this, thanks in advance!

Generally, the header section is wrapped inside a html tag named <header></header>. If it's the parent div use it in your css file as

header{

    background: your-color;

}

If the header tag is wrapped inside some div then find the top level div and use it's id or class name to add the same.

.divname or #idname{

    background: your-color;

}
