Darius2
Hi everyone, i recently made a small website for a friend so i could learn a little bit about html/css/javascript. I made it myself with Notepad, so no wordpress etc... Now i want to implement like a simple backend/CMS, so that my friend can upload pictures and text to the website without digging into the code or asking me to do it. After a lot of google searching i can't really find a starting point on how to do this. Would i have to program it all by myself? Or ist there some kind of software/framework, that can help me do this? I know i could just buy a wordpress theme etc. with an implemented backend, but then i couldn't use my own frontend right? If someone could give me a hint on what to search for on google, or maybe some links, that would be awesome! thanks, Darius Edited April 11, 2019 by Darius2
justsomeguy
You can make a Wordpress theme or a template for another CMS if you want to do that, or else you need to build your own CMS. If you're going to build your own then you need to get familiar with PHP.
