white text appears grey

Hi,

I am trying to get the grey text in the black box and translucent overlay black box to be white,  but I can't. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

What code have you used?

Setting the opacity of an element will change the opacity of the entire element, including its text. If you just want the background to be transparent, use an rgba() color as the background color.
