SillyBilly
I have gif and jpg images on some of my pages. When I mouse-over them I get a box with icons. The icons give the options to save, print, e-mail, open my pictures folder. This is very annoying. I do not see this on commercial sites. Is there a code to stop this box? Do I need to use javascript?Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
Eric
Sounds like you're using IE :)Have you tried this:<meta http-equiv="imagetoolbar" content="no" />It's *supposed* to stop the image toolbar from poping up on IE

I have been to Dynamic Drive and found a similar code @http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex9/imagebar.htmI'll try these fixes.
Eric
"similar"?It's the same exact code :)I'm even supprised Dynamic Drive has it on their pages, as they usually only deal with "DHTML" stuff, and this <meta> tag is Static (Not Dynamic).lol, what will those crazy folks at Dynamic Drive think of next :(I can't believe they actually labeled it as "Disable Image Toolbar script"It's not a script

I put it on one page and it seems to cascade to the others. I'm still checking the permutations.

I'm still checking the permutations.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> <meta> doesn't need a "closing tag" as the element itself is an "empty tag".If you're using XHTML syntax (instead of HTML) then you just "self close" the element, as I showed before.<meta http-equiv="imagetoolbar" content="no" />If using HTML syntax, you leave it as-is<meta http-equiv="imagetoolbar" content="no">Dynamic Drive only showed you the HTML syntax, it forgot about the XHTML syntax (as I showed in my post). I got used to closing all the tags, so I would not forget the ones that needed a closing tag.The code works some of the time on some of the pages. It varies as to the page. I tried moving the image from the web page to a hosting site, but that made no difference. I'll keep trying.

By experimenting I found that the code works on all pages except the one that uses images in frames.
Err
You would also have to add that to the pages you are targeting with the Ifame ... if that's what you meant.
