Don't Accept Message From Mignulikz

I'm guessing I probably won't be the only one to receive a personal pm from mignulikz. Don't open it, the link first attempts to use active x to download spyware onto your computer, and if that fails it forwards you to adultfriendfinder. Admin please block this guy at the ip level :)

Heh. I attempted to follow his link from my Linux laptop and it basically went nowhere. Now I know why. It didn't forward me to adultfriendfinder, though. Wish I'd have seen your post a bit earlier - could have saved me some wasted time.Later On,D

mignulikz, Has also PM'd me.Could the Admin please remove this user. How did this happen? Has a security hole been found with the registration? Can this be looked into and find how this happened and prevent it from happening in the future?Regards,Tom

Users can always PM right from registration, the validation period is only for forum posting.

You should always verify a link is secure. Because there are a few risks with clicking on them. Like if you click a link a website could send a hidden post back to the webserver using your sessid making the webserver believe it is your acount this way they could compromise your acount. To be absolutely sure u won't get compromised disable javascript, because javascript is used to send the form without user validation. Links to another part of a site is evenly dangerous because there could be an XSS hole. Be safe :)

Spammer mignulikz has been busy - I received a PM as well. Fortunately my corporate Websense blocked the link. I should have suspected something when I saw this user has zero posts.(then again, i only have 4 :))

Then this is a bug or a security hole, I know some forums can be configured to not allow new registers to pming or write links till certain amount of days and number of post in the forum in order to avoid spammers. Although it's the first time I've received this kind of message but who knows it's like a warning message to the admin don't you think? :)

Wow,Yes, yes... I got the PM from the Mignulikz...Yes, yes... I retardedly clicked on the link...I didn't get forwarded to the adult finder site, but I just got an error page, saying that I couldn't use this message board. I hope that mean's that W3Schools blocked it.I don't think I have Active X running on this machine... it's an office machine. Hope I didn't just open the flood gates to a crap-load of spyware... Great...Lesson 1 for me: Practice what you preach!!! I was just telling my boss about NOT clicking on email links... GHAHHH... so mad at myself.
