  1. Just wanted to let you know that i got it figured out and everything you said was helpful. :-D
  2. Yes I am using Dreamweaver. What are some major issues with using Dreamweaver, in your opinion? All the major tables are because I build the design of the website in Illustrator. (Sliced> saved As HTML & Images.) I guess I don't understand why tables are outdated? I learned HTML over 5 years ago and want to start building again. So I can grantee that my knowledge is out dated. Also, I used the positioning because of the div containers, to make them appear over top of the images. Are Div containers outdated also? I am going to go back and take another look at my website with the positioning and everything you have mentioned in mind. Then I’ll let you know what I come up with. Lastly, thank you for your help I was starting to worry that no one understood or dealt with my issue.
  3. The difference between the adobe and apple brand VS your brand, is that they have been around for years. They are a well-established brand. Were as your brand, is still your baby, and needs to grow before it can stand on its own. All I’m trying to say is that if I didn’t read the home page I would not of known that the website is about "Registered Massage Therapist". If someone stumbles upon your website, then sees something other than the home page, they might be confused as to what they are seeing. Especially if you get older folk that are not tech savvy, get frustrated, and confused easily. Lastly in response to the color, as much as I like the grey logo, possibly adding color or blue to the logo might help spice up the website a bit. I don’t know what else I could tell you to do, since this is your creative project. In a weird way creating the look and feel of a website is kinda an art form. Which mean that when someone say it needs more blue or it is too bland, you as the Artist have to think outside the box a bit.
  4. No, when i go to the browser and hover over the top or the first button ( The one that activates the drop-down) the drop down appears. I am then able to hover over the button underneath the top or the first. However, if i try to move down to the next button (the second one down from the top or first button)my drop down then disappear. Im starting to think that the DIV ( #apDiv2 ) container that is bellow my buttons is what is giving me the conflict. But i now do not know how to fix it or to make it work. I tried to set it to " Clear: Left " but nothing has changed. Let me know if you understand because i would really need some help. Thank you
  5. I agree with DDs1, need more blue or other colors. But it looks nice. Also, as i went through the pages nothing visually expressed that this is a website for a "Registered Massage Therapist" or you didn't use those terms on the other pages to keep my mind on track about the purpose of the website. You kept using ORMT, which means nothing if you don't know what it stands for. You could possibly put in small script what ORMT stands for or something to that effect.
  6. I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for. However, coders academy has several tutorial styles exercises. They also have Java script, HTML, CSS and other website base code exercises. Hope this was helpful. http://www.codecademy.com/#!/exercises/0

  9. Hi, I have created a form for a website and now i would like the information from the form to be imported into a SQL table. I am a complete newb when it comes to SQL. I have no idea were i should start or how to go about it. Any help would be great or if someone could just get me pointed in the correct direction would be appreciated. Thank you.
  10. Hello all, I recently added a drop-down menu to my website. The drop-down works and so do the links. My current issue is that i can hover over the 1st and 2nd buttons but once i reach the 3rd button, the whole menu goes away. I know that the 3rd button and bellow work because before i added the CSS attributes for them to appear and disappear they rolled over and the links work. I'm assuming that there is a conflict with another part of the CSS. However, I have NO IDEA what it is. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
