  1. Thanks guys, I will try the above suggestions and will post the results.
  2. I found the culprit, see this code - if (strpos($HTTP_USER_AGENT, 'Firefox') || strpos($HTTP_USER_AGENT, 'MSIE') || strpos($HTTP_USER_AGENT, 'Safari')){ $flag = 1;}if($flag==1){header("Content-type: text/html");}else {header("Content-type: application/vnd.wap.xhtml+xml");} when i remove this code from the top of that php page, the javascripts work absolutely fine, but with this code added they dont work! they worked in html pages because that page dint have the above code.what above code does is catch the useragent and changes teh content type accordingly.(my site is basically a mobile site
  3. Tried the single quotes.. No help. Still blank page.Viewing the source shows the correct code i.e. - <script type="text/javascript" src="http://shoutcast.mixstream.net/js/song/uk3-free:24304">You appear to have javascript turned off.</script>
  4. Hello, when i try to add the following javascript snippet in my php pages it doesnt output the result as it is supposed to, whereas the same code works fine in a html page.Here is teh javascript - <script type="text/javascript" src="http://shoutcast.mixstream.net/js/song/uk3-free:24304">You appear to have javascript turned off.</script> This is the syntax how i add it in my php pages - <?phpecho "<script language=\"Javascript\" src=\"http://shoutcast.mixstream.net/js/status/uk3-free:24304\">";echo "You appear to have javascript turned off.";echo "</script>"; ?&

  6. Hello,i just need a small help, regarding the calling of a JS from a remote location, instead of the same domain.When i put the JS in my site's own directory and use this code <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript" src="/directory1/directory2/javascript.js"></script> , it works absolutely fine.But when i upload the JS to some other site (that site is mine too, and i am not using some free hosting sites), and use this code - <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript" src="http://www.myothersite.com/dir1/common.js"></script> , it doesnt work
  7. Can you please elaborate with an example.. Thanx..
  8. Thanks people..@Synook yeah i know, if were allowed to use the DB it would have been a matter of minutes.. 9. I want to have a simple login page in HTML, where users could enter their login details(Username and password) and if successful they will be presented with their client area..Now the catch is i cannot use SQL/Database thingy to store/retrieve their login info. Can it be done using a text file or Javascript?Also if new user want to register, the new info should be appended to the same Text file/Javascript..I am clueless at present on this, any help will be appreciated..Thanks.

I am using this function - function check_injection() { $badchars = array("DROP", "SELECT", "UPDATE", "DELETE" , "UNION", "WHERE", "FROM", "ALL", "INFORMATION", "SCHEMA", "TABLE", "SQL", "VERSION"); foreach($_REQUEST as $value) { if(in_array(strtoupper($value), $badchars)) { echo "<b>pmpl hax0r!</b>"; } else { $check = preg_split('//', $value, -1, PREG_SPLIT_OFFSET_CAPTURE); foreach($check as $char) { if(in_array(strtoupper($char), $b
