I'm creating a website with a three-column, fluid layout but am having trouble making it work - while the width scales wonderfully with the browser, the height of all three columns is a problem. Setting the height at 100% seems to make them scale to the content inside each instead (rather useless, as the two side columns only hold a background pattern). I don't want a large empty space underneath the entire thing when someone with a bigger monitor views the website but at the same time don't want to have an unneccesary scroll bar (obviously). This must be a simple thing to do but I just can't seem to find an answer. I can only work in HTML and some CSS so the solution needs to be quite simple :/ Can anyone help?
