  1. I was talking with a friend and was told that since FLASH is vetor based it doesn't like curved stuff too much and auto-corrects the font characters with tails and dots etc.If anyone has any ideas about how I can make Central Eurpean (ISO or Windows) Fonts work, please let me know. Greatly appriciated.V
  2. hello,I would like to make a graphic with special font characters.I have been searching everywhere and can't find a way to include a new font into Flash MX 2004.Copy/paste does not work. Nor does HTML.thank you,v
  3. Ok, I got it to work, although I'm not sure if the client needs the text to show. <span lang="PL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Arial"> PL=PolishSP=Spanish from what I rememberand so on...Thank you for the help. V
  4. Yes it would be with specific characters. For example Arial font works fine whether it's Spanish or English but certain characters of the alphabet can't be shown unless you have the Spanish Arial Version.I use Verdana on my website. I have both the Polish and Spanish versions of Verdana aswell.Because these language specific characters won't show when I copy / paste them in I am asking what do I need to do to let my visitors see those letters.common tags will not work because they do not cover all the letters of the Polish/Spanish alphabet.Ty for all help.V
  5. I'm not sure if it is, but if someone could confirm that and show the whole code I would appriciate to know how it exactly works.Another issue I am concerned about is that Polish or Spanish speaking people visiting my site won't be able to pick up the Font Characters unless they have it themselves. If it's resolvable I would be very happy.V
  6. Hello,I have a website w/ 3 languages (English, Spanish & Polish). I would like to use specific font characters in Spanish and Polish that are not found on:http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_entities.asp My question may be a little complicated but here goes...Can I save the Spanish or Polish font file on the server or FTP://address and then use "<font face="SPANISH"> </font> or is there a code to call that Font style up, like you would a picture or .swf file?Like this?... "<font face="/languages/fonts/SPANISH"> </font> I am at a loss because all characters come out as []'s or are auto-corrected by IE to what it thinks it should be. I hope I said this clearly, anyways, if anyone could help that would be appriciated. ThanksV
  7. thanks for the help.I'll work on the code more. I wouldn't want to discourage others needing larger/smaller fonts anyways. Didn't think of that. Thanks neways all!V
  8. I have a HTML site with some light FLASH usage. When I change the text size the text and pictures all go out of sync. What can I do to disable the ability to change text size. This is an example of what I want to do:www.PayPal.comyou can't change a darn thingThank you.V

  11. Hello,I have made 1 Scene with 12 buttons in it.Is it possible for me to assign an HTML code to each button so that when someone clicks, they will be directed to a certain part of the page? This is how it's set now in HTML: <object data="/Buttons/buttonset.swf" width="540" height="546" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"> <param name="movie" value="/Buttons/buttonset.swf"></object> Just 1 big flash movie. And I would like them to work like HTML links.... This is one of the 12 buttons in HTML: <a href="#Q3"> Why is there a charge? </a> Is this possible in FLASH? How might I do this?Thank you much,

  15. Hello, I was hoping someone could help me with some spacing issues.I get HUGE gaps above my tables. When I include a heading the gap remains between the heading and the table. To make it easier on the eyes, i made the sentences "text text text text text text" <p align="center">Here are several examples of text text text text text text. There is NO LIMIT to how many you make! </p></h5> <table border="0" bgcolor="ffffcc"><ul type="disc"><tr><td> <li> <h5> text text text text text text</h5></td></tr> <tr><td> <h5> text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td > <li><h5> text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr> <tr><td> <li> <h5> text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td> <li><h5> text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr> <tr><td> <li><h5> text text text text text text</h5></li> </td></tr><tr><td><li><h5> text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr> <tr><td> <li><h5> text text text text text text</h5></li> </td></tr><tr><td> <li><h5> text text text text text text</h5></li> </td></tr> <tr><td> <li><h5> text text text text text text</h5></li> </td></tr><tr><td><li><h5> text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr> <tr><td><li><h5> text text text text text text</h5></li> </td></tr><tr><td><li><h5> text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr> <tr><td><li> <h5> text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td> <li> <h5> text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td> <li> <h5> text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td><li> <h5> text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td><li> <h5>text text text text text text</h5></li> </td></tr><tr><td><li> <h5>text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td ><li> <h5>text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td > <li><h5> text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td > <li> <h5>text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td > <li> <h5>text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td > <li> <h5>text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td > <li> <h5>text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td> <li> <h5>text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td ><li><h5> text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td > <li><h5> text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td ><li><h5> text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td > <li> <h5>text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td ><li><h5> text text text text text text</h5></li></td></tr><tr><td > <li> <h5>text text text text text text </h5></li></td></tr><tr><td ><li> <h5>text text text text text text </h5></li></td></tr><tr><td > <li><h5> text text text text text text </h5></li></td></tr></ul></table><h5> whheww.... ok so yea, were it ends "There is NO LIMIT to how many you make! " That is exactly were the gap is. It is about equal in length to the entire table. Thanks for taking time to make sort of this mess, I appriciate any help.V
