    title bar

I tend to always use lowercase as it is a reccomended W3C standard and a set Standard for XHTML. It's just good practise.alzable
  2. Weird, it happens to me too...I wonder what it is...alzable
  3. Mmmm, XML is harder than HTML. I will consider learning it someday but otherwise...not for me. Shouldn't this be in the XHTML forum?alzable

    need major help

It works like this:Hex numbers are like normal numbers except with letters that continue on - here is our normal every day system:0123456789Here is the hex decimal system:0123456789ABCDEFTreat A to F as 10 11 12 13 14 15 16.Heres the cool bit - the first two digits of a hex value represent red, the second two represent green and the last two digist are blue.like numers, you choose the amount of red, green, and blueexcept in hex so:#FF0000is a pure red.#00FF00is a pure green.so you guess what pure blue is:#0000FFMix the colors together to make other colours. (Tip: If all values are the same, you get a colour on the greyscale)Change the amount of the colours to get light and dark eg:#602B82gives a dark purple!May I recommend a program called Hex Color Finder 3.0 by NZ software. I use it alot. I hope I gave you a good explanation, alzable
  15. A while ago, I was building a site with dropdown menus. I used this tutorial: http://www.alistapart.com/articles/horizdropdowns/The menu was to the left of an IFRAME. When I would run over a dropdown list in IE there was no problems but when I ran over a dropdown list in Firefox, the list would close as soon as the mouse went over the IFRAME underneath. Also the list was disaligned and looked yuck! I tried everything and failed. Would there be a way to get ALL browsers to work nicely and if so, how? Hope you understand the prob. alzable
  16. Yep, its just a difference in IPB. I actually think its extremely useful!
  17. I havent noticed that tutorial! Thanks!
  18. hehe! I thought you were being scarcastic for a moment too! lol!anyway, dan, do you need to live in europe to make a site on there?

    CSS Backgrounds

Yea, if there was a way to stretch the image, it would be possible but otherwise, you may need to do what logz said.alzable
  22. Try this: <?php$txtbestand = "bezoekers.txt";$content = fopen ($txtbestand, "r");$num = fgets ($content, 1000);fclose ($content);echo ("Count = " . $num);?> alzable
  23. Actually, the forum uses the default IPB skin with a few changes. I would love to make a skin for W3 Schools but im only experienced with making skins for IPB v1.3 Final. Does IPB 1.3 skins work on ipb v2.0.4?Anyway I agree, great forum!alzable
