I'm trying to contain text within a parent div and have it scroll as necessary. I'm pretty much a noob at webdesign and this is my first time developing a responsive site. Any advice or help solving this issue will truly be appreciated. (It's been vexing me for more than a week!) Anyway... here's a link to one of the pages: http://new.littleangelsla.org/programs/index.html. If you need more information please let me know. Thanks soo much, Kevin.
Here's the html and css...
<section>
<main class="mediaWrap">
<article class="main_left_banner">
<img src="../images/banners/banner_programs.png" width="100%" height="auto" alt=""/> </article>
<aside class="main_right_banner">
<img src="../images/tempMediaBanners/pageBannerHeader_programs.jpg" width="100%" height="auto" alt=""/>
<article class="bannerHeaderText">
<p><u>INFANT AND TODDLER...</u></p>
</article>
</aside>
</main>
</section>
CSS...
.main_container section .mediaWrap {
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
background-color: rgba(94,172,223,1.00);
float: right;
padding-top: 20px;
border-top-left-radius: 15px;
border-top-right-radius: 15px;
margin-top: 155px;
overflow-y: hidden;
}
.main_left_banner {
width: 56%;
float: left;
font-family: "Source Sans Pro";
color: #343434;
padding-bottom: 0px;
}
.main_right_banner {
width: 44%;
float: left;
background-color: #5EACDF;
overflow-y: hidden;
}
.mediaWrap .main_right_banner .pageBannerImageText {
overflow-y: scroll;
}
