TY, that is what i thought ... i am trying to re-learn html/java... which i haven't used in almost 20yrs

On https://www.w3schools.com/graphics/canvas_clock.asp , the line "radius = radius *0.90" within the code in the "try it yourself" example doesn't contain a ";" ...but the same line in the following "code explained" does... My Question is, is this a mistake, or am I missing something....
