  1. I think I will do that JMRKER, thanks.
  2. Hi JMRKER, thanks for your response. Can you please give me the steps to create a new temporary home page please if this request is not time consuming for you to respond? Thx.
  3. I'm taking over my website updating with no experience other than some initial tips which the previous programmer (now retired) gave me quickly. I've managed to update a few items successfully. I have a question on the home page...I understand the home page is the "index.htm" document. I want to update the home page. I was told to click 'Edit in HTML Editor' to do this. However, if I make mistakes I don't want the changes to go 'live' until I know the changes are correct. Is there some way of copying the "index.htm" to my hard drive, making the changes there, then upload to website when I know all is good? Second, as per the screen shot below, do I make all the changes in the 'Edit in HTML Editor' or do I use 'Edit in Code Editor' or 'Edit in Text Editor' to get all of the formatting correct re paragraph spacing, etc.? Thanks for any advice.
  4. Thank you for your comments above...sorry for the late reply...I put this aside as it hasn't been at the top of my list. Re your question, 'about your code', I don't know what this means, sorry than it is html.
  5. Hello. I am new to HTML. I have taken over the basic updating of my small company website with updates to limited content. One of my web pages has some checklists which clients can open or download. I would like to password protect those checklists so that only authorized persons can open. Instead of password protecting each checklist (which are prepared in excel or pdf), I thought I might simply be able to password protect the 'folder' which contains all of the checklists. Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any guidance.
