  1. Hi, It really depends on your personal choice. I work as an Automation tester and it is having the huge demand in the market right now but if you are familiar with Web development(HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT etc)then Automation testing will be much easier for you. And automation testing is also a kind of UI testing. So, Web development knowledge provides you with the better understanding of Automation testing too. But I am not saying that you won’t be able to learn automation testing without knowing web development but it will be a plus point. Both of them is having the huge demand in the market so you can start with anything. Thanks Daniel Charles
