    Wordpress Sidebar

    I know this probably has a really simple answer but how do I make it so the sidebar is on the right side of the content box on a WordPress theme?Here is what it looks like right now:http://reptilenewsstation.1sthoster.com/The sidebar is below the content box and I want it to be on the right side of the content box.I know the theme sucks right now but this is my first WordPress theme and I want to set everything up in the correct places before I start getting into really styling it.
  2. How do I use an image out of a folder for a webpage?I've been uploading the pictures that I want to use to PhotoBucket and then I've just been putting the url in the background-image: (); tag (I think it's called a tag) and it's working but sometimes I accidentally delete pictures that I'm using for a webpage off of PhotoBucket and I get the stupid error messages saying that the picture has either been moved or deleted.
  3. OopsJust a stupid mistake.It's easy to tell I'm a noob. Isn't it? lol
  4. The only reason I gave it the class name "p" is because I just wanted to see if the CSS was working but I just had something wrong with the background-color: tag.I guess you guys are right though and I could have just used p{ instead of .p{. I just wanted to do something quick to find out if the css was working and I didn't thinking about using p{.I still can't get the css to work on my html page.
  5. That didn't work. For some reason when I view the html page on the internet the CSS isn't working so it's just a white page with black text. Aren't you suppose to put a period in front of class names in a CSS file?
  6. For some reason I have a lot of problems linking to a style sheets on my HTML pages.This is what I did: <!--Creator: ~~~~~~~Page Name: IndexDate Created: 1/09/2009Updated: ???--><!DOCTYPE htmlPUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN""http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"><html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en"><head> <title> Golden Valley Reptiles-Homepage </title> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="goldenvalleyreptiles.css"/></head><body><p class="p">Blah</p></body></html> This is what I have on the CSS: body(background-color: #FFBE30;}.p{font-size: 2em;color: red;} I know the link to the css page is correct.More info:I have the CSS file and the HTML file in the same folder.

    Place on Top

    I am trying to put a title above each of my pictures so I am using the <h1> tags and it is working great except for the top picture.When I used the <h1> tags on the top picture it lifted the red area up and there was a blue space in between the red and white area. To fix this I switched the <h1> tags to span tags and on the css sheet I put font-size: 2em; and font-weight: bold; and this made it look like it was in the <h1> tags but it put the title beside the picture.How do I make it so the title is above the picture?You can see what happened here: http://mymanager.site40.net/spanishproject.html

    Move Image?

    I want the second and forth image to be at the right of the white space so that they are on the opposite side of the first and third image.

    When I try to put an image up on my web page a little ripped paper symbol comes up instead of the image.This is how I put the image link on the HTML sheet:<image src="http://s289.photobucket.com/albums/ll216/Reptile_Guy_Mr_Nick/mymanager/?action=view&current=mathsymbols.jpg"/>

    No Spaces

    I am doing a project for school where I have to make a fake webpage but since I am learning how to make real webpages I might as well make a real one and practice.I am using two <p> tags, one right after another so it creating to much space in between the words. How do I make it so it doesn't make spaces?I want it to look like this: School NameSchool Info Instead it looks like this: School NameSchool Info Here is my html: <html><head><title>My Spanish Project</title><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="spanishproject.css"/></head><body> <div class="background1"> <p class="banner">Liberty High School</p> <p>925 Jewetta Avenue </br> Bakersfield, California 93312 </br> Phone: (661) 587-0925</p> </div> <div class="background2"> </div></body></html> Here is my CSS: body{background-color: #000151;margin: 1.5in;}.background1{background-color: #B10A24;text-align: center;}.banner{font-size: 2.5em;font-weight: bold;}.background2{background-color: #FFFFFF;}
