  3. OK, i'll study that XPath functions, I hope it works.. when i builded that XML i think'd that was a perfect way to show tables in a web page.how my XML will look more normal?tnks!
  4. an error occurred:ERROR: Description: NodeTest expected here.//<--that's the problem.. XSL can't read the name of the tags.. you must declare it to find his content.

  6. yes, i'd have to loop through the pet types,but not for counting them, is to show them, becouse the types of pets can change when the XML is generated.so, i need the XSL code to build that table whit that XML, i can build a table but the rows are the "tag content value" (<tag_name>tag_content</tag_name> i need to row tag_name | tag_content.i explain myself well?is this possible?thanks again.
