  1. hmmm k but what about if the values are image file names. Those images are websites I've created, I want to order them by order of creation. I'm not sure how the user-defined sorting would work.edit: I found a way to sort by keys instead. This should work pretty good. I'll give it a try.http://ca.php.net/ksort
  2. I have a script that currently gets all the jpg files in a directory and then I sort them. <?php$thumbslist = array();$counter = 0;$dir = "../images/websites"; $dh = opendir($dir); while (($filename = readdir($dh)) !== false) { if(strstr($filename, '.jpg')) { //images can only be jpg $thumbslist[$counter] = $filename; $counter++; }}closedir($dh); sort($thumbslist); for($i = 0; $i <= count($thumbslist); $i++){ echo $thumbslist[$i].'<br />';}?> Is there a way I could use to order them a certain way but that I could choose? It's always by groups of 2, 1 is small and the

I removed the stylesheet after I saw it didn't work. I'll give you a link later on. Thanks. Kinda normal you've only been coding for 2 weeks...

Trust me the path is fine. I'm including 2 other css and they work fine.

I tried that but it seems to screw everything up... I put this exactly@media print {@import url('/css/print.css');}but then it appears as though there is no css. The path is correct and all.

Thanks. Do you mean when you click on one of the thumbnails? This script is pretty complicated and that's how they open it up.I think the new thumbnails take a lot of place (pretty much like the old ones). I want something smaller but I wanna be able to know what I'm looking at... Any ideas? or maybe a js script that could help?

I think the id attribute should be unique thing is only a guideline. It'll still work. Use class if you're going to use it on many images. Make sure they all have the same class or id name. If everything seems good then feel free to paste your code in here.

Well both deep coding websites have a big planet but I'm guessing you're talking about the one where it says Deep Coding right underneath the planet. That one it's just an image I took from deviantArt I think and just erased the bottom of it for my content. The Second Deep Coding website (blue), I made from scratch.

How do you guys like this http://vchris.net/portfolio/portfoliotest_e.php compared to this http://vchris.net/portfolio/portfolio_e.phpand this http://vchris.net/home/test_e.php compared to http://vchris.net/home/and how would I add the media print for the css when I include css this way:<style type="text/css">@import url('/css/vchris.css');@import url('/css/slimbox.css');</style>I would need another <style> tag right?
  11. Done! Thanks you very much for the script

I have many versions of the deep coding site. It was the name of my portfolio before vchris.net. Which one are you referring to? deviantart.com is a great site for art.

I've got a few minor changes in mind for the website. I might add a welcoming message. Is there a way when printing my page to remove the images (top banner and nav)? I was thinking of adding icons of all the software I know on the about page but I'm not sure about the programming languages I know... There's no icon for HTML. I don't really like those huge thumbnails on the portfolio page.If anyone has any suggestions, let me know.
  16. What about the admin page? That's CF right? I'm pretty sure I had NOD32 working when viewing it.
  17. Oh ok I know exactly what you mean. I had that command prompt command which would pop-up this dialog box to add a webserver to CF. I can try that but it didn't seem to work to well earlier. I might just keep what I got right now.
  18. I got it working in CF. Here is the CF equivalent: <cfset catcode = ""> <cfoutput query="Links"> <cfif catcode NEQ ISIC4_Code> <cfif catcode NEQ ""> </ul> </li> </ul> </cfif> <cfset catcode = ISIC4_Code> <ul> <li>#I4_Desc_E# (<strong>#catcode#</strong>) <ul> </cfif> <li>#GD_Desc_E# (#uid#)</li> </cfoutput> I only 1 small problem. The last sub <li> is not closed with a </ul></li></ul>.
  19. Well I got CF7 working but only as a stand alone webserver. I don't see the option in the admin panel to change the webserver to apache...
  20. Thanks boen this helps a lot!I might try CF 8 to see what results I get. if that doesn't work I'll follow your directions. I also have NOD32.
  21. I've been playing with it for a while but for some strange reason it says port 51011 is blocked when installing CF. After installing CF I can't restart Apache...In the worst case is it possible to run 2 webservers maybe not at the same time. I would run the CF server for CF and Apache for mysql and php.
  22. I get an error with the query which is "Column 'GuidanceDocument.uid' is invalid in the select list because it is not contained in either an aggregate function or the GROUP BY clause."If I add GD.uid, GD.Description_E it works but not grouped the way I want to.Here is part of the data I get: * Other animal farming; production of animal products n.e.c. (0122) o This Manual describes the procedures and recommended approaches for estimating emissions from facilities engaged in rubber product manufacturing. (217) * Other animal farming; production of animal products n.e.c. (0122)
  23. I got XAMPP running no problem. PHP pages are working fine. Only problem is CF pages, they are not being interpreted by the ColdFusion. When installing ColdFusion it's asking me for the config folder of Apache so I pointed to the folder named conf which is simple enough. Then it asked for the binary file for the installation or something like that from Apache. That's where I'm not sure. I think I pointed to apache/bin/httpd.exe. Is that right? Could this have anything to do with CF pages not working?edit: I reinstalled choosing apache/bin/apache.exe but doesn't seem to make any difference.
  24. Hmmm no idea... I don't know what multi-part is and it's not a key so...
  25. If you ask me I think it could be better. I like the background image. It's when it comes to the content, it just seems like it's too bland for the background.
