  1. Thank you, I will try that!
  2. I have used the background-size property and set it to cover, and yes it does make the image responsive. But I was just wondering how they made the div size change depending on the screen size. When I go on that site and resize the window from large to medium the cover image height shoots down and does the same when it goes to mobile view.
  3. I prefer the new theme, I don't know how you can say its untidy...?
  4. Been working with bootstrap recently and have come across something that I'm struggling with. I'm trying to set the height of an image differently depending on the screen it is being used on. For example if I had a picture at 200px I want it to resize to 100px when I resize the screen to view on a mobile. Perfect example of what I'm trying to do here: http://frogspark.co.uk How do I go about getting the image to resize when making the window smaller? Is it done with css or javascript.
  5. As far as I'm aware !important is used to overwrite any other styling of the same type. It forces something to change regardless of what order it comes in, in the main html document. You can avoid using !important all the time by putting your style sheets in a certain order. For example if your customising css code in bootstrap.
  6. Made this in photoshop, thoughts? http://imgur.com/2xAm4Yt
  7. I've removed it now.I'm working on a new homepage for my website.
  8. I want to make some money from my site. What websites allow me to do this?I only know about Google Adsense.

    Iframe Into <div>

    Set a width for your center content. That might fix the problem.It might be best for you to use % rather than pixels.Example... * {margin: 0;padding: 0;}#contentleft {float: left;width: 10%;height: auto;}#contentmiddle {float: left;width: 80%;height: auto;}#contentright {float: right;width: 10%;height: auto;} Something a bit like this: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN""DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"><html><head><!-- always use a container --><style type="text/css">* { margin: 0; padding: 0;}body { font-family: arial; color: white; }#container { margin: 0 auto 0 auto; width: 70%; height: 1000px;}#top { text-align: center; height: 100px; background: #000000; width: 100%;}#leftcontent { background: red; float: left; height: 500px; width: 10%;}#centercontent { background: green; width: 80%; height: 900px; float: left;}#rightcontent { background: blue; float: right; width: 10%; height: 500px;}iframe { width: 90%; margin: 5%; border: 0;}h1 { padding: 2%; }</style></head><body><div id="container"><div id="top"><h1>Title</h1></div><div id="leftcontent"></div><div id="centercontent"><iframe></iframe></div><div id="rightcontent"></div></div></body></html>
  14. The image rotator isn't suposed to syn with the images below. But the PHP gallery does sound good - I will look into that!It does actually say House M.D. Its just the rotator cuts off the text a little so it looks like a C - Still working on that.Thanks for your comment.EDIT: It doesn't cut off the text now. Just fixed it.
  15. Ok thanks.I will check it out.
  16. Well, i have no idea how to do that yet lol.I don't know much server-side langauge - I know a bit of PHP, but not enough to do what you just said

    Tab Menu

    You haven't defined the width or height of the div. Try adding a width: xxxpx; also it might help if you add overflow: hidden; to your code.
